Anti-Dumping Advisory: Navigating Complex Trade Proceedings
Our Experience
At TDC Global, we provide specialized advisory in anti-dumping matters, supporting businesses and associations through every stage of anti-dumping investigations, reviews and related proceedings. Our role is to help clients build well-structured, technically sound cases — whether they are defending against duties imposed on their exports or seeking protection for their domestic operations.
Representative case experience:
We have been involved in numerous high-profile anti-dumping investigations across a range of products and jurisdictions. In the investigation by Turkey against imports of cold-rolled stainless flat steel products (CRSS) from the People's Republic of China and Indonesia, our team represented several manufacturers and traders affiliated with major Chinese steel producers, in coordination with leading consultancy firms in Ankara and Beijing. In Turkey's investigation on hot-rolled flat steel (HRC) originating in the Russian Federation, our consultant served as one of the exclusive representatives of a major producer-exporter.
Our experience extends beyond the steel sector. In the anti-dumping re-investigation by Turkey concerning dental implants from the Republic of Korea, we represented one of the key manufacturers — illustrating our ability to support clients across diverse product categories.
Government-side and EU investigation experience:
TDC Global's consultants also bring first-hand experience from the government side of trade remedy proceedings. They have served as case handlers in anti-dumping investigations initiated by Turkey — covering products such as refillable flint lighters, baby strollers, benzoic acid, woven pile and chenille fabrics, polyester yarn and ball bearings — and have conducted on-site verification visits at producer-exporter premises in India, Indonesia, Germany, Malaysia, South Korea and Thailand.
At the EU level, our team acted as deputy case handlers in the European Commission's anti-dumping and anti-circumvention investigation on colour TV receivers originating in Turkey, and attended verification visits conducted by EU inspectors at the premises of Vestel Electronics and Beko-Arçelik. We also supported Turkish exporters of unbleached cotton fabrics throughout the Commission's investigation on that product.
This combination of advisory, investigator and defence-side experience gives our team a distinctive perspective on how anti-dumping proceedings are conducted, assessed and decided — enabling us to provide more effective and strategically grounded support to our clients.
Additionally, we served as exclusive representative of a key manufacturer during Turkey's investigation into hot rolled flat steel (HRC) imports from the Russian Federation. This further demonstrates our expertise in handling steel industry cases, a critical sector in global trade defense.
Our expertise extends beyond steel. We represented one of the leading producers during an anti-dumping re-investigation by Turkey into dental implants originating in South Korea. This case is just one example of our ability to support diverse industries facing trade challenges.
TDC Global’s consultants also have experience as investigators in various anti-dumping cases initiated by Turkey, including refillable flint lighters, baby strollers, benzoic acid, woven pile chenille fabrics, polyester yarn, and ball bearings. We have conducted verification visits in countries such as India, Indonesia, Germany, Malaysia, and Thailand, ensuring accuracy in the investigative process.
